Kastking Braid

Post by smokin_reels » Tue Nov 13, 2018 1:06 pm

I had a Tekota 700 thats been sitting in the shed for a while and decided to spool it up with some braid.
Now given that i am not too sure how much I was going to be using this outfit , I decided to cheap out on the braid a little and bought myself 500+yds of Kastking Braid for 30$.

I know its not going to be like an 8x Jbraid or tasline Elite.

But more curious to see exactly what product one gets for this price point.
Anyone else have any experiences with this?

:-D

Thanks Guys, will keep you posted on how I go. Its mostly just going to be used for landbased shark fishing and trolling lures for kingies of the kayak.
P5 i was worried about the line capacity on the Tekota700 and which is why i went for braid.
It previously used to be used for Mahseer Fishing and has 50lb Berkely Big Game on it as is.
