Those this stuff need to have some mono backing on spool so it won't slip.
Recently put some on a daiwa Laguna 4000,which I use for squid jigging n bait fishing and line seems to be lose n slipping.

You can put electrical tape on your spool before the braid and that will stop slipping.

Btw let us know what you think of that braid. I had it on a bait caster reel and was the whitest braid I have ever used. Also lost color real quick and I was scared it was fraying, you don't want that when you nail a good fish!!!

Yes, like most fireline they tend to look like they are fraying and loose color, but, I have never had it break, it's very good line. These days I use Fireline Exceed and I will never use Finns again, it's good line and yes, use some mono backing
