Re: No mustad hooks for me
What do you think is a good, cheap brand? I'm a bit of a cheapskate but have had a few hooks snap on me over the years, including one recently that snapped while I was tying it to the line. I find myself going back to the pricier brands when this crap happens.

I use Jarvis walker brand from BigW,they work just fine and sharp out of the pack
I tried the cheap ones from Bcf but find the eye not big enough for 8lb mono sometimes

Re: No mustad hooks for me
I'm much the same but I'll always buy a pack of Black Magic circle hooks if they're in stock at Anaconda. I used to always buy Mustad though.fishnut wrote: ↑Sat Feb 24, 2024 10:08 pmWhen it comes to whiting I'm a cheapskate ad well,lolCharles7 wrote: ↑Fri Feb 23, 2024 10:47 pmWhat do you think is a good, cheap brand?
