Daiwa beefstick, okuma lunaris, I was also thinking shimano raider but may be a bit stiff for what you want. I'm not sure if anaconda and bcf stock these rods but you can find them at compleat angler

I held raider, it's very very stiff. I believe I can hit a rabbit and kill it without breaking the rod.

I know when I was looking for a new rod, 2-5kg 7'3 or so I gave Daiwa a call for suggestions.
They were pretty solid in providing recommendations for the style of fishing, species targeted and price point.

Just get a 1-3kg Daiwa Hyper, the binding makes it feel stronger than what it is and to be honest, probably the best all round rod in it's class range. Try a 2-4kg first but I would go with the 1-3kg for bait

Thanks.
I thought of Hyper.
I'll check if the 1-3kg is soft enough. But I'm talking about bait fishing for targetting slightly bigger fish. I'll check if the butt is strong enough.

I have a UL TD Hyper in 1-3kg and it’s a nice rod. Perfect for UL micro plastics or chasing gars on bait. It’s got a crispness to it like you’d expect from a plastics rod.

The longer Eva foam butt is nice, but from a personal preference standpoint I’d take a longer split butt anyday.

What length are you looking for by the way?

Around 7ft.
I'm not looking for plastic rod, I'm looking for bait rod.
