Bait spin rod recommendation

I'm looking for a 2-4 kg or 2-5 kg spin bait rod.
I want something that is good value for money around $100 (or less if possible). Especially during sale atmrod.

I don't want those cheapo heavy glass rod with thick heavy uncomfortable grip handle thing.
But I don't want those super stiff carbon graphite rod either as I want something soft and less resistance (especially the tip of course).

I've been checking at some shops and it's always either heavy bulky glass rod or super stiff graphite. Nothing in between.

Any suggestions?

Note: I have old Daiwa Tierra 1-3kg nibble tip rod that I use for whiting and bream. And 1-3kg rovex nibble tip rod. Maybe something similar but in 2-4kg or 2-5kg.

Rapala Maxwell 1-3kg are fantastic for $100, I have a brand new one that I bought by mistake that you could have a bit cheaper

Thanks. Yeah I know Rapala Maxwell is great little light rod.
But I'm looking for a 2-4kg rod. Something that has a bit more power.

They're stiff full graphite rods. I've held them.
I need soft nibbly tip. Or glass tip.

They might have too slow action for your liking, but I rate the ugly stik gold rods for bait fishing. I got 4 when Anaconda accidentally compounded an online and in-store discount a few years ago, and got them for about $30 each. The 3-5kg rod held up well on an 82cm snapper this year, but would still have a sensitive enough tip for whiting bites.

I don’t have any rods that are worth over $120 though (don’t want to be dropping expensive rods off the kayak), so I don’t have any high end rods to compare them to. Let us know what you end up going with

I'll stop by Anaconda and have a feel on few rods. See which one I'd like the best.

In a similar boat - looking to replace my Tica 4-10lb medium action graphite. Served me exceptionally well - love it but the reel seat loosens itself. If I don't find a decent replacement, might just have it repaired.

Have you looked at medium action / medium weight graphite or composite? Might be a compromise as glass is always bulkier / heavier.

Yeah.
The only composite I can find is Abu Garcia Rayrex.
The older model is pretty soft but can't find it anywhere now.
The new model is okay. Still a bit stiff though.
