Went to anaconda and checked few rods, as expected, most of them are super stiff.
The best I found was Shimano Maikuro 762 whiting nibble tip spin rod 1-4kg. Light, good grip, soft tip. The only downside is it's a bit noodly. The mid section is too soft. $95 I think. It's not bad for the price.

I also went to Hoppers Crossing bait and tackle. Found Revolution 763 nibble tip 1-4kg and and Okuma LFR 6102 gen2 glass tip 3-5kg. Both around $120-$140.

So I'll probably get one out of those three.

Daiwa Beefstick 702LS. Daiwa Excellor 702LFS. Shimano Taipan 662sp. Shimano Aquatip 702EST. Ugly Stik Gold 702L. Silstar crystal power tip 702NT are some top look at
Daiwa Exceller 702LFS. Couldn't help myself, preppin for winter squid chasing. Has a hollow glass tip, the rest is a little rigid.
