21JL962SP8-15 Spin 2.9 9'6'' - 8-15 28-150 FUJI K STAINLESS ALCONITE SHIMANO CUSTOM / FULL LENGTH EVA 2 $229.00

I could always get another catana but I like the look of the jewel.

Jewel is generally slightly better than Catana.
That spec be good to cast metal lures off the surf for aus salmon.

https://www.anacondastores.com/fishing/ ... 7340-black,
8-15 kilos might be a bit heavy? then again it will mostly be with a 5000-sized reel, sometimes ill put my smaller 4000-4500 size reel on it if I'm going for smaller fish.

Does anyone know of a rod like the jewel, same specs and price range but with a split grip?

$229 seems like big overs for a jewel? Surely you can get into a tcurve for less than that? (I think they've rebranded tcurves since parting ways with Ian miller?) now just called a revo?
