Twinpower vs Stella
Apart from the fact that the Stella's are fully sealed and have way more bling value.
Thoughts on how a twinpower stands up?
Looking to get a couple of 14000 for an upcoming trip in December chasing real fish.

Re: Twinpower vs Stella
Having seen both in action recently, I can't split the 2. However, I'm talking about a 2500 stella and a 3000 twin power. The twinpower handled a 1.02mtr Mulloway with ease on 20lb braid and leader. The stella I have seen handle a 42cm bass on much lighter line with ease. 14000 is insanely large and I have no idea how they would compare but I don't see the point in spending huge dollars on a reel that big when there are many at that size that would do just as good a job. are you fishing for whales?smokin_reels wrote: ↑Mon May 23, 2022 3:39 pmApart from the fact that the Stella's are fully sealed and have way more bling value.

Re: Twinpower vs Stella
If its any consolation to you.
The only shimano reels I would get are those 2.
The twin power is a very very good reel.. almost got one last year..
If your spending that much, also look at the certate SW models...

Re: Twinpower vs Stella
The issue is if they break down on me in the andamans, chances are I can get a Shimano fixed quicker.purple5ive wrote: ↑Mon May 23, 2022 9:46 pmIf its any consolation to you.
