It doesn’t matter if it’s second hand as long as it’s in good condition (no deep scratches and no significant damage) if it’s reasonably priced and you maybe know someone that’s selling one or has one they might sell pm me any leads would be awesome

I would check all the local BCF stores first. They used to stock them.

Yeah I'd do the same.
Check BCF, Anaconda, etc. and shops online like Motackle. Then calling local shops without website.

Yeah, finding discontinued item is not easy.
Why the particular rod btw?
Surely there are other rods similar to that.

He really loves the rod in general and there’s no other rods like it it was a different way of making it and there isn’t any other rods anything like it this rod is so rare he’s got a mate in the us trying to find him one and even he’s struggling all the info on it’s very hard to find the rods like a ghost it’s like daiwa doesn’t want many people to know that it exists or that it ever existed because few people have them and fewer people would part with them that’s why trying to find a lead on ones so hard and you have to go digging to try find any info on them

Not sure what's so special, but good on him.

Call daiwa directly, they may have stocks in their warehouse. Or ask stores to call Daiwa.

I did that with Shimano, and lucky they got stocks in the warehouse, and got it delivered to nearest store.
