Sephia BB or Emeraldas X?

Bugger though u might price match for 239$ and buy something else for 60 bucks equall 300$ and then get online 80$ off....bugger

my initial plan was to get emeraldas x for $249, buy couple lures to make it to $300 and get $80 disc.
Sephia BB is $299.99 at BCF, so its like $220 after the $80 disc, cheaper than Anaconda.

But still can't decide which one to get. Spec wise Sephia bb seems better, but stiff, i like it a bit whippy which is the emeraldas. Hard to judge without actually holding them. Curse this lockdown.

Southern sportsfishing have the sephia bb rod,s for $210 walk in price but stock for all store,s anaconda,bcf is low due to the current covid he had to order the rod i wanted did not take long

Thanks for the info. I wish I lived closer to them, would definitely visit often.

Hey Sebb maybe not to much help but i have five squid rod,s including the solpara which is a good rod but my favorite is the emeraldas mx 86l but that,s a bit more than you want to spend .Recently purchased the sephia bb 89m should get them for around $210 have not used it yet but feel,s good and look,s great went for the 89 cause i,m landbased and want to compare daiwa to shimano .For the kayak if that is your plan the sephia 80ml felt really good as reviewed in the recent hooked up mag

Yeah ideally is to have the MX but it's over my budget.

I'm going to use it landbased, so yeah you're right, the longer rod be better.

Bought the Sephia BB.
Feels great. The Emeraldas X is a bit stiff for me and heavier.

Doesn't look nice with the old Freams. Might change the line or get stradic ci4 or vanford in the future.
The handle area feels a bit cheap though for some reason. The Emeraldas definitely has that expensive feeling.
The MX is light, but over my budget also still feels too stiff for my liking.

Nice buy that rod in hand felt great you will need a light reel to match it .Looking forward to your review of the rod especially how it handles a 2.5 jig and the 3.0 jig
