I believe The BB denotes the watered down or base model version of the model.

Changed the line to orange, looks better. That Freams 2000 is about 185gm. Balanced just on the base.
Yeah ideally to have stradic ci4 or vanford to match the color. Sephia reel is heavy.
Excense bb looks good too.

Nice buy that rod in hand felt great you will need a light reel to match it .Looking forward to your review of the rod especially how it handles a 2.5 jig and the 3.0 jig
Thanks. Will definitely write something up after first use.
I went to Trellys Laverton and there it was, one left, waiting for me :-D
Emeraldas X and MX were there too, so compared them. And yeah, I think for the price (and my budget), it's a good buy, good value for the money. Xwrap carbon all the way to the tip, still have the sensitive crisp feeling but not as stiff as the Emeraldas.
From $299 down to $209.30.

How's the water in St Leonard? Clear enough to do squid fishing to test my new fishing wand?

Now that's a sexy looking setup!
All you need now is a few good calmari on the end of it! haha!

Alright, I've just arrived back on the Bellarine - caugth the ferry (arrived Port 11:50), the water is murky from what I'd imagine.
Port is dirty from that N wind, I'd say it would be a light brown with clear sediment, less than ideal!
Tomorrow the wind turns W strong, should be glass out evening and hopefully cleaner! I will be tyring tomorrow afternoon.

Yup, I'm thinking of getting a stradic ci4 or vanford. At least that's what my OCD tells me to, haha. Be a perfect match.

Spoke to a mate who lives across the road.

Water was pretty muddy with these N winds, I reckon tomorrow despite the W winds it'll be murky.
Should be calm with the winds, but that murkiness will be around. I think low to run-in tide will be best chance, with the prediction of full sun around midday.

I will be fishing the mid-day run in! :)
