Advice on a cheap Garfish reel?

I’m no pro. Have only done it a couple of times now. But I’d go something that picks up slack line as fast as possible. Don’t have much time when then are finicky to hit. I put a 1k sienna on my rod to begin with. Second sesh I threw on a 2510 high gear reel just to aid in the winding when the float drifts closer before being taken.

I’d go a 2500 reel
