High end tackle brands

Post by nofishnogear » Thu Feb 27, 2025 12:20 pm

Hi all, I’m an avid collection of high end JDM brands, I’ve got some zenaqs, Yamaga blanks and started dipping my toe into evergreens.

I’m also aware of ripple fisher, mc works, fisherman custom, tenryu and centuary(USDM).

Does anyone have any other interesting brand recommendations I can check out?

Apparently Hermes makes $13K fishing rod.

Hahaha

Joke aside, Megabass is pretty high up there too.

At that level, carpenter, smith, even gamakatsu. For a whole new level of travel rods try fishman (different to fisherman) and transcendence make some really cool ones with interchangeable parts to change the ratings.

Zenaq just released an Accura 95h R which looks like the best all rounding rock spin rod i've ever seen.
