Seeking advice on a 9-10" 10kg Travel Rod
Hi guys, Ive been looking for a 9 or 10 foot travel rod for fishing the rocks / shore. Have you guys got any suggestions? I am looking for something reasonably priced. Any suggestions / recommendations?

Anyone had any experience with the GoTure Exceed rods?

Define reasonably priced?
I've got a 3 piece T curve that will get the job done but it's not a particularly nice casting rod.

Hey DougieK,
Sorry for the delayed response. Notifications havnt been coming through.
Reasonably priced in my definition would be upto $300-ish price bracket.
I happen to own a Shimano T-Curve Revolution Bluewater Travel rod (2.06m) 10-15kg - but i am after something a bit lighter and longer (9 or 10”) - for lures off the rocks.
Any suggestions? I know you fish the rocks a bit as ive seen a lot of your videos

Not sure how light you are looking to go but a travel seabass rod from japan might be what you are looking for. In that price range I quite like the majorcraft rods and they do a crostage pack rod for seabass. CRX-964M 9'6 4 piece 8-20lb 15-42g lures, haven't used this particular rod but I have other seabass rods in lighter specs and found them great for landbased lure casting

I used to buy them through amazon japan and a postal forwarding service, I think amazon ships internationally now, but that was because I struggled to find the exact models I wanted elsewhere
