First trip to Lang Lang

Post by Brett » Mon May 06, 2019 9:59 am

Hit up Lang Lang around 9:30 yesterday morning(Sunday 5th).
It was like glass as we headed out and stayed like that for around 3 hrs,

It got a bit ordinary around 1:30pm so we started to head in, which meant we cut our trip short by about an hr, but we still managed 4 gummies and 2 small schoolies all taken on squid, had one take on the mantis shrimp, but it ended up dropping off, prawns got nothing.
We kept 1 each to restock the freezer. :a_goodjob:

For our first trip over that way it was pretty darn good 😁 and hopefully it wont be to long before we head back

It's an exhilarating feeling catching a fish
But it's an even better feeling releasing them

Awesome effort Brett & ? , , , , I love the first up trips. Trying new grounds is what it's about, back yourselves and , , , , boom , , , , success.

Great catch too, especially as it's a first up trip.

Two nice kept gummies AND a Matari in the mix too. That smile of success is a great feeling.

Well done guys.

Cheers, the Bug

They are both Lovig Kahawai the old model with out the seat, I got them on special for around $600 each.
Then I've added a boat load of extras to get them to what you can see.
