End result would be something along the lines of tiller/c.c with extended pod, live well transom, casting deck with anchor well.

Definitely. I'm surprised they are that cheap. Mine would need stringers and transom, which would go very close to 10k alone paying someone else to do it.
Could save a few bucks if i did the majority myself but not sure I have the time nor want to use that time to do so.
I'll sit on it anyway no need to rush into any decisions just yet

But ducky is pretty right. $30k drive away bmt package ex NSW. Jackaroo in QLD have stopped making 445s for the next few years. They used to sell base hulls around $11k.
Sell the Savage and the 15, buy one of these https://www.boatsales.com.au/boats/deta ... D-12921243 (in yellow), give the remaining cash to the missus for the wedding and if there's any complaints just say "Well if **** hits the fan you'll end up with half of this anyway"

Honestly, I'll be a rude p**** and have a wishing well at the wedding anyway, as all gen Y weddings have nowadays. I'll probably get close to what the wedding costs back in money then BOOM! 565L in the shed.
Well, honeymoon is going back to America so maybe that might chew a bit of that up too lol. One day I'll boom 565L it though. Until then I'll be annoying everyone on my ski.
