I've heard a few guys get them off st kilda pier on grubs.. not many have been landed though!

Haha, thanks mate. She was more taken by the smell of the fish than the mess i made luckily

Honestly do not know how my rod and line lasted during the fight. I battled him for a good 20 mins then had to walk him all the way to shore coz couldn't lift him out of the water from the pier.. Crazy
Caught at 5:46am during high tides.
Fantastic work mate. That is an awesome catch. Did well getting it in landbased with that gear.
