Trying to get my head around who is stirring who here. Anyway gave Cobby a day off and edited some of his post. Don't really want to remove all of that or close the thread. People are frustrated about all these lockdowns, that is understandable . Getting angry and insulting each other won't fix it.
lets get back to fishing post.

You suspended Cobby but not the obvious troll account?

Maybe you missed the link to sex sites that I deleted.

As a moderator, it is my job to remove clear breaches of the rules. One rule is no "R" rated content another is no unauthorised advertising. A link to a sex site to tell someone what they can go do, is clearly a breach of both.
So I gave Cobby 24 hrs to calm down. As for a person with a bulling attitude, and trolling posts, clearly fishing for trouble, that is an opinion as to where to draw the line. As such it is up to fishing Vic,Jon, to decide on their membership status. As to the rest of the members, a bit of adulting is in order. Simply ignore these people that seem to want to fish for a fight. They win everytime you rise to the bait. If it happens too often in a thread, then the thread gets locked or removed.

C’mon man. Some of us spent the better part of 18 months without a boat. Getting a weekend then lockdown is just cruel haha.

Yes I’m aware how self centered that sounds. No I don’t care.

Then again forecast 40 odd knot winds this coming weekend. May aswell be locked down again…

I'm fully vaccinated (what a pain in the ar$e that was, after 3 days on the phone I had to go to the Exhibition Buildings for the 1st shot & Sandown Racecourse for the 2nd)....& I'm still just as worried about catching & spreading Covid.
Now I'm hearing a 3rd shot may be necessary because of the new stronger Delta variant (aka the Indian variant).
These lockdowns arent getting any easier & it feels like its going to be a long, long time before we get on top of all this.

Misses old man past way before lockdown .
Only allowed 10 people at funeral today, which also included outdoor burial.
