Favourite fishing drinks
Hi all,
Topics are a bit slow. Time to check the favourite drinks of FV members.
1. Favourite drink when fishing / filleting.
2. Favourite drink when eating fish.
3. Favourite drink when money is no object. (I’m looking forward to these replies).
4. With the weather turning cooler and the fishing slowing down (?), favourite drink to get through the winter months thinking about fishing.
Me.
1. Beer, 2. Beer. 3. Beer, no, I have tried a Macallan reflection single malt 4. A very good whiskey on ice.
Cheers.

Re: Favourite fishing drinks
In terms of alcohol, beer is really all I ever drink other than red wine which doesn’t really bode too well with fishing. I like crafted ales personally but I’ll drink whatever.
If I’m driving, and can’t drink, then water/coffee or a can of coke usually does it for me. Maybe a Gatorade or something on a hot day.

1. Beer, 2. Beer 3. Overpriced craft beer (Stone & Wood Pacific Ale) 4. The Dubliner is a great whiskey liqueur for cold nights watching the footy. 5. Sometimes I enjoy a smoke while fishing, don't know why, something peaceful about it maybe...
