Re: Your Bucket List!
Ok this is a hell of a list from local species, certain size of some species and some mega cool exotics.
Golden Dorado
PNG Black Bass
Taimen Trout
Golden Mahseer
Peacock Bass
Goliath Tigerfish
Snakehead
Arapaima
Largemouth bass
Small mouth bass
Muskie
Black Porgy
Mangrove Jack
Saratoga
Jungle Perch
Bluefin Tuna
Yellowfin tuna (with sickles preferably)
GT
Permit
Bonefish
Milkfish
60cm ep
60cm bass
50cm bream
1m flathead
1m Barra
120cm cod
120cm mulloway
10lb brown trout
20lb Salmon
Big Kingfish (talking NZ size)
There's a few more that I can't think of right now as well. Lure or Fly only, extra cool if it's on topwater or fly gear doesn't count if it's on the troll for me

Re: Your Bucket List!
Lucky you're a youngen Alex
Big flathead are not far away, Bemm River channel Nov/Jan (mouth open to sea).
Have seen them, although 40 odd years ago
Cheers Gra
Largest ever (recorded) about 851mm/33.5" - height of a 44 gallon drum
I think it went 14lb, largest I saw was 9lb (they are monsters)

Re: Your Bucket List!
Nothing too outlandish for me, as a land based fisho I’d like to get a tinny in a couple of years and spend the rest of my life fishing different parts of Gippsland and head into southern NSW.
Would love a big flattie as well.

Re: Your Bucket List!
Tuna out of Prince Edward Island
White Sturgeon out of the Fraser River
Alligator Gar out of Texas
Piraiba, Red Tail Cat , Pyara and Arapaima (That'll be a trip to the amazon)
Tarpon
Golden Dorado
A big French mirror
Goliath Tiger Fish
Himalayan Golden Mahseer and Goonch Catfish
Giant Snakehead in Malaysia
A big GT, Doggie
A bronzie
PNG Black Bass
standard issue Metre Barra, Metre Cod , Metre Jew
a 50cm redfin
I reckon that'll do. somewhat achievable. nothing too crazy.

Re: Your Bucket List!
Some impressive lists there, I’ll give Smokin and Alex some free advice. Stay single and save shitloads of money the the Mrs would otherwise spend on rubbish and then travel far and wide looking for your exotic fish. After seeing enough of Alex’s videos, I’m in no doubt that he’ll tick off most of his list.
