Think be getting around 2k fortnight, for both of us , since they have doubled dole payments.

SHAFTED!!! JobKeeper shock as PM considers shake-up of $1500 fortnightly payment

i hope the guys who qualified for it have already got some form of payment :(

Yeah it wasn’t perfect but cutting it would devastate the the economy. Even if some of the cash is going places it isn’t needed it’s still getting spent which helps the economy.

Hopefully the government will now at developing a Universal Basic Income asap!

Now I'm getting job keeper....
Starting new job on ,,25th May...
No idea when old work will start back , but will have re negotiate hours when I go back.. To fit in with new job,...
Should go down well with old employer :(

It's legislated until September. As wishy washy as his comments were, it seems to be more likely extended than it will be cut

Officially joined the club now.
Couldn't have picked a worse day.
It's the wife's birthday, and I ended up spending half the day in emergency thanks to my daughter smashing her face into a door at home.
To add insult to injury my phone came back unrepaired from optus due to a broken screen..
Been a rough day so far and it's not over yet lol..

On the bright side I'll have some time to tidy up some stuff around the house and shed.

Sorry to hear P5, what industry/field did you work in?

May be too early for you know but do you qualify for any support/benefits?
