Could test it in the bath after the kids are done if you want to know early and can go back to the drawing board if needed
Re: Fishing related lockdown activities.
Going back to my modelling days, google Humbrol Paints, they are available from some hobby stores, the enamel should work on jigheads (and hard body lures if you know how to make them). A very extensive range of colours are available, just make sure you seal them properly after use and they will last for ages.

Did a 3rd one for the day but I ****** this one up on the first go as I used multiple layers and did it in the wrong order I redid it again and made sure I was doing it the right way without binding over existing pattern
I used a prebought jighead to give it a bit more life..
Halfway through. I wasn't sure how to finish the arse end of it..

Last minute decision ended up like this.. might trim the tail down a bit more later on

I also added a small bit of knitting yarn inside the belly to give it a bit of contrast, it also has uv in it so it glows nicely under uv light

Plenty of learning curves along the way...
Uv glue doesn't work well on cloudy days..
Make sure uv torch has enough power, low batteries means it won't set the uv glue either
Make sure you have an idea of the pattern sequence you are attempting to tie, otherwise you will end up having to do it again..
Cheers
It actually looks quite good
