well after a few years of neglect I decided not to procrastinate any more and clean and repack the wheel bearings on my boat trailer. It is a job I do not particularly like doing, so it was with some trepidation that I began the job, fully expecting to find one or more bearings rusted onto the shaft.
It was with some joy to find that the bearings pulled of with ease, so there was no need to get the cold chisel out. Removing the old grease and clean the bearings and now to repack.
Bearing buddies do make the job somewhat easier.
