Boat handling instruction

Post by Kestrel » Thu Jan 14, 2021 9:37 am

Hi folks
My neighbour has just purchased himself a seven-metre half cab. He has his boat licence but has very little practical experience in boat handling. We were out a couple of days ago and his docking and other handling skills were, well, not great!
I would offer to help but don't think I have the patience to be a good instructor.
So, I'm wondering whether anyone knows of someone who offers practical, on-the-water, boat handling instruction in the Melbourne area.
He is happy to pay to get the assistance he needs.
Cheers
Kestrel

In this case it’s a bit like someone trying to drive a car who has never done it before. He needs some instruction first and then practice ( lots of it) second.
