New: Whitepointer Super Hornet with centre console with a Merc 150hp ProXS. Kinda like this one.
Used: Bairnsdale build 565Edencraft for 50k, rip the 200hp HPDI Yam straight off and bolt a 225hp Merc ProXS for the 4.6L v8 goodness

Heard some good things about the super hornet. Centre console for the extra fishing room?

Wonder about the pros and cons with centre console boats. Never owed one before.

Nailed it. And with the pedigree the hull has being the old Haines Hunter 488c hull, it's a perfect hull to mingle in a river chasing small fish one day and running through an entrance to chase Kings/Tuna the next even if conditions aren't the absolute greatest. And be able to do it all solo and control the boat whilst fighting fish with relative ease. The con being you're super exposed to the weather being an open boat.
There's 1 for sale currently with a bombtec on the back I'd buy tomorrow if I had the dosh

Ah yeah, cheers for that. Dunno if I’d buy one, being open to weather and burnt to a crisp in 15mins makes me think I’d stick with a half cab style haha
