Re: $100,000 question.
I've been doing hard research as this is pretty much my budget for my next boat, came up with a few different options (everything decked out BMT with all the extra fishing options):
-NICELY rebuilt HH 565L (probably would spend around 60k give or take, with a close to new-ish donk and all the desierable things like top deck and live well transom etc.)
-New EC 565 - 91k +
-New razorcraft gunshot - 105k +
-New Stabi 2000 supercab - 90k+
-New Extreme 645GK 105k+
-New McLay workmate 75k+
-New Yaltacraft 2200 fisherman 56k+
this is rough quotes i've got / prices i've researched. To me the Yalta is the best value for money of the lot coming in at close to half the price of some of the options. I'd buy 2 of them for 100k. one for fishing one for diving lol.

Yaltacraft aren’t too bad a boat either. Seems like the logical thing to do being half the price and with same options as the others. Is that a 6.5m the 2200?

Sorry I stuffed up the quote, the 2200 is 66k, the 2000 is 56k.A-a-ron wrote: ↑Tue Jan 19, 2021 1:25 pmKimtown wrote: ↑Tue Jan 19, 2021 12:56 pmI've been doing hard research as this is pretty much my budget for my next boat, came up with a few different options (everything decked out BMT with all the extra fishing options):

The boat length of the 2200 is 6.2, overall 6.65.... boat length for the 2000 is 5.85
a really good all round size, and you're right, it's not too bad of a boat. My cousins (x2) had a yalta odessa, about a 5.6m. rode extremely well, cheap and reliable boat, they won't win any boat show awards, but handling and bang for buck it seems to have in spades. the new yaltas are 100% composite nowadays.
it helps they look pretty nice too.

Do look nice, did they win a award around 2010-2015 maybe not a well known one but think I remember one. the 2200 would be close to $70k by the time you put a 200 on the back, i think the 150 would leave quite a bit to be desired.
For an extra 20-25k you get a EC565, yes a bit smaller boat, but no doubt a better ride, better re-sale value and overall a better boat....
idk its tough and its annoying i have to think about this crap all over again
