Boat Labels/plates

Hi everyone.
I bought a 12-foot punt boat and it is registered in victoria but I do most of my fishing in the Murray / new south wales water.
I have transferred the registration to me and had no problems but the boat doesn't have any capacity plates or safety labels or such on it
only the brand and who manufactured it.
The boat would be at least 40 years old maybe didn't need them then.
Does anyone know what I need to do obtain a capacity plate? and also do I need a safety label as I am fishing n.s.w waters, a little confused?
