Well I did it, I googled what a light table is... and it’s not even remotely close to the same concept man roflpurple5ive wrote: ↑Fri Oct 16, 2020 7:28 amyou need to google what a light table isKimtown wrote: ↑Thu Oct 15, 2020 11:32 pmWhat’s the point of light shining at the bottom of the bait board and the rest toward space?saph wrote: ↑Thu Oct 15, 2020 8:24 pmi would say its fine unlike others saying your gonna blind yourself.
The bait board is gonna act as a diffuser and the sides are pointing to space, only mod i would say is find a way to temp block the back where its towards you for any major spash back of light.

What’s wrong with just shining a light down onto the bait board from off a rocket launcher or a removable pole or something lol. It doubles down as a fish attractant on the water as wellsaph wrote: ↑Fri Oct 16, 2020 10:32 amsame princible as one of these white box's for taking product photo's, just enough light going though to see what your doing, the rest shining off to space acts as a fill to the sides.Kimtown wrote: ↑Thu Oct 15, 2020 11:32 pmWhat’s the point of light shining at the bottom of the bait board and the rest toward space?saph wrote: ↑Thu Oct 15, 2020 8:24 pmi would say its fine unlike others saying your gonna blind yourself.

Bonus if it works as a becon or a light source on the water attacting fish.
To me, this is nothing more than a retina burning mosquito attractant

Re: Lighting up bait board n rods.
its exactly what the OP wanted to do, shine the light under the bait board, so its just visible to see enough on the baitboard itself, as the baitboard acts as a diffuser when the light passes through it.Kimtown wrote: ↑Sun Oct 18, 2020 10:16 pmWell I did it, I googled what a light table is... and it’s not even remotely close to the same concept man roflpurple5ive wrote: ↑Fri Oct 16, 2020 7:28 amyou need to google what a light table isKimtown wrote: ↑Thu Oct 15, 2020 11:32 pmWhat’s the point of light shining at the bottom of the bait board and the rest toward space?saph wrote: ↑Thu Oct 15, 2020 8:24 pmi would say its fine unlike others saying your gonna blind yourself.

but in this instance the light bar is way too big for the application at hand.
