I'd go minimum 7inch screen...
Any recommendations mate?

I am super impressed with the Elite 7 Ti2, which you can get for around $1200 now i think, and its possible that you will be able to reuse the power cable from your current unit, so all you would have to do is install the transducer which is fairly straight forward. Im pretty sure a few of the other members have the 9. 7" is as big as i can fit on my dash and its plenty big enough, but if you can afford the 9 and have room then i would go for that one.

Whatever unit you go for, make sure you get sidescan.. it is unbelievable.

Is Jezza still around? How is the boat going.. have you been able to get out for a fish? (i have no idea if regional Victoria can still go).

Edit: nevermind.. i just read the other post about pinholes in the hull. Ive been away for a bit and catching up on old posts lol.
