I dont think you need to be able to do a figure of 8 to back a boat down the ramp.. most of them are dead straight or maybe a slight bend and have a long area to straighten up before you have to reverse. I understand that reversing a trailer is hard for some people but so long as you can get your boat down the ramp and in your own lane relatively quickly i am happy with that.

The thing that does annoy me is people who clearly cant reverse a trailer, or decide a busy ramp is the best place to try and practice, and end up zig zagging all over the joint and having to pull forward 10 times to straighten up.

If you arent 100% sure of your ability to get your trailer down the ramp safely and quickly then go somewhere else and practice reversing it until you can.
The only thing better than serenity is a two stroke at full throttle!

I have just seen a video of a fight at st kilda 2 blokes punching on then suddenly a guy jumps off the big twin outboard boat knife in hand and appears to stab the bloke unbelievable

Ive already seen tempers flare between kayaks and boats. And People taking 20 mins to retrieve boats holding up others etc etc.
