Offshore is lighter boats then 565r ect models.
To many boats kayak, helicopter , catch a fish,catch a fish

Probably smaller than you guys are looking at, but i saw a nice rebuilt V17L on Boatsales earlier today. I think it said the work was done about 4 years ago, transom, stringers etc. It was around $30k.
The only thing better than serenity is a two stroke at full throttle!

TBH I never realised the rating was only 175hp on a 595, it initially didn't make sense when the 585 has a rating of 200hp. Further investigation reveals the 585 is actually 100kg heavier than the 595. My concern here is that I was having a discussion with a forum member who owns a 565 with a 150HP and he said the power was ok but not extravagant. With what motor? The 2.6L Yammy or the 2.8L Yammy, or the 2.8L Suzuki or the 3L Mercury? That'll likely be the gutless 2.6, especially if it was part of a bmt package. Does anyone own or know much about Cruise Crafts? I've particularly been looking at the Explorer 568. It looks pretty sexy but more importantly I would love to know how these boats perform on the water and are they considered a quality build? I'm trying to make a comparison to a Haines Hunter as price wise they are relatively similar.
Any info would be much appreciated.

Cruise Craft are considered quality builds. Historically they were know for a harder ride due to a shallower deadrise and also being a bit wider than optimal. But a new haines built today don't ride as well as older models so there is less difference in it these days.
Just be caseful you know what size boat you are getting as many of the fiberglass boats are now going down the barcrusher marketing path of calling a smaller boat a bigger model.
Ie calling a 5.55m boat a 615 making unsuspecting customers think they are buying a 6m plus boat.
