Re: Boat
Also go as wide as you can on that plate to try and stay clear of prop wash. As far right as you can go looks to be in the middle of the strake, thats where you want to be

Re: Boat
Narh not Accurate at all hearing pines hall. You go around 600 to700 yd up Newlands arm and it says you're in the middle of a paddock haha .
I am thinking about putting the boat in at around 17:30 to see how the sounder go's in 40m I don't expect Side scan to work but sonar and down scan had better work or it will go back for a refund .

Re: Boat
Hey bowl the tranny face needs to be about 5mm below the bottom and in the middle of the flat part between strikes
Also the trailing edge about 3mm below the front
I have the same 3in 1 tranny and reads well upto around 40kph

Re: Boat
Agree 100% with this.
I was having all sorts of issues with my 3-1, Until I glued the actual tranny in the centre underneath, really impressed what the 3-1 can do now, basically reads bottom when I'm in the river at pretty much all speed, up to 20-25 meters, outside, does the same for any reef type fishing..
