Ducky and Bowl- Ive got a new Quintrex 420 with the blade hull.It will take all the chop and still give a smooth ride -Better then the old Tech Glass jobs
The older tin cans are very wobbly

Tiller steer or unless console towards back of boat . Then maybe ok ride, if runabout style tinny , then ya nah

Thanks for the recs everyone. I took the Savage Safari out for a test run off Werribee today. Weather was pretty good so didn't test it too much but it does bounce a bit so I imagine it'll take a while to work out the best way to distribute the weight and trim. It's probably a better estuary river boat.

I saw what Bowl posted about the smaller fiberglass boats. There's a big Haines premium on the Breeze and 492. Is there much difference for the 4.5-5m fiberglass cuddy's across brands?

I would have stayed with the haines and revamped it to suit like db said
