I had lots of enquiries at the lowrance stand so had to be there for a while.

Funnily enough they didn't seem to know a lot :icon_lolz:

Hi All,
I went & had a look this morning, the most impressive thing was the formula 23 with clear gel coat so you could see the carbon fibre, this allows any defects to show up (air not rolled out, fibres not wet out properly etc.) I could not find any defects, very impressed with the workmanship, too bad I can't afford one. Did not see the Lawrence chicks, maybe they were weekend only. In general I have to say, not as good as previous years.
Cheers from
Ango.

Lots of bits and bobs for boat fitout which were semi reasonable in price but nothing overly special. I worked the Marine Safety Vic stand from 12-5 with no break and only had about a halfa afterwards to do some shopping. Still picked up a Daiwa Ballistic 4000 and a thrown in surf rod (Daiwa aird) super cheap from monster fish stand also. Was great speaking to some other boaties though especially when the fishing talk comes up. Met Paul Worsteling too, who is a ripper bloke and Charlie Micallef from savage seas adventures who's also a ripper bloke too.

Hey mate this is a old post but it’s a potential lead on a daiwa aird surf rod and there’s not many out there is there any chance you would be willing to sell the surf rod? If so could you just pm me the details (it would have to be in good condition and a reasonable price)
