Anyone had or heard of any issues with the GT54 TD

Other than the GT56 is the better ducer and like all sidescan capable transducers it can be a p**** to get them to read at speed no.
What's yours been doing?

I'm looking at getting 105sv I've heard there were some issues with the GT54 with a faulty element

They should be all good especially with them being available for a few years and still made if there was an issue. You also don't know how people have set them up or if they've been ran dry and burnt out the element. But you'll be all sweet, all the larger echomaps come with the more powerful gt56 these days
