Help needed with lowrance elite 9ti2

I was wondering if anyone could help me with my Lowrance elite 9ti2
On my charts I had a cursor. It has disappeared. Its not on the menu bar anymore.
I also have two symbols at the top of the screen. The symbols look like a circle with an arrow and a cross with arrows on the end of each point.
They seemed to have appeared when the cursor disappeared.
Any idea what I have done?

I've just got an HDS and had what sounds like a similar problem on the first and only night of use, if you upload some photos i can confirm and maybe help.

Managed to sort the problem out.
Turns out if you have the 3D boat turned on it removes the cursor!
Lovely man at BCF figured it out.
