Cape Patterson/Inverloch fishing

I’m heading up to cape pat on the 16th I have read about whiting and salmon being up there and at Inverloch you can get trevally whiting salmon etc but I have also read that the current at Inverloch can be pretty hard to work with and the beaches are questionable weather or not your can fish any of them. Any advice about where to fish and what for would be greatly appreciated as all I have found from my own research is all over the place.
