Bream is all year round. Which you can get from marybrnong river, yarra/docks.
All the piers in metro Melb can still produce fish, such as trevally and aussie salmon.
Trout and squid is good winter. Depends how far you want to drive.

Welcome mate
Plenty of good fishing in winter!
Now is a good time to be chasing salmons/gars/squid.
I recently got a good catch of pinkies as well on a recent trip.
Are you landbased or have a boat?
