The hardcore breamsexuals around here would probably go with 6-8lb braid and lighter fluorocarbon leader.
18lb braid and 4-6lb leader. It's the diameter of the braid not the breaking strain that counts ;-)
This. I wish more people cleared this up for newbies.

Pe0.6 is as low as you’d ever want to go to be honest.

The Catanas in 1-3kg are rubbish for casting lighter lures.

Once you’re in the slightly more finesse range you want to be looking at daiwa gen black or equivalents.

The reel is only there to collect line at these weights. I’d prefer a more expensive rod with a cheap reel like a 1000 sienna if budget was a concern. The drag on a sienna is smooth enough for 99% of scenarios you’ll get in.

I reckon this can be a seperate long discussion topic.
I agree, I use daiwa infeet pe0.3-0.8, with 2000 reel spooled wtih pe0.5 braid and 4lb fluorocarbon leader, casting 1gm with ease, effortless and joy compared to when I used 2-4 kg raider 2500 stradic fk 10lb line that casting 3gm seemed like a torture (gotta whip it hard etc).

I could still cast 1/8 jighead on the raider with ease though. I think the casting weight on the rod was 2-12gm.

Are you using braid? If so how many lbs is it? 😊
yeah its 20lb braid, ive tried 8lb mono and 30lb braid but nothing
Read the rod spec, it should tell you the ideal casting weight. Pick the matching line too and you should be able to cast nicely.
