Predicting snapper bite by looking at weather conditions

Post by eTwee » Thu Dec 10, 2020 3:32 pm

Hey guys we got some really good feedback about our last post and helping people understand weather conditions to fish for snapper so we decided to make a video from the post.

I rarely get to fish now because of young family, so when I fish, I only fish at the most optimal times to chase land based Snapper. This video to explains what we look for.

Hope it helps someone out there and get onto something decent!

Adrian

Hey I joined your Facebook group the other day! Great video with good information man.
Quick question, what size sinkers do you use in that area and what sort of shape... needing to stock up on new ones :oo:

Hey buddy! Awesome!! Glad you are finding the info helpful. Thats our aim really!

If you are fishing stormy weather (which is good for snapper) you want 4 oz snapper sinkers or 4 oz star sinkers (beach).

If the wind is above 15 knots, upgrade to 5 oz snapper or 5 oz star sinkers (beach).

Have you had any luck land based yourself mate?

No luck yet, only put a couple of days/nights here and there targetting them. Think I need to invest into some bigger sinkers.
