Salmon location?

Salmon are highly mobile and tend to migrate around PPB and elsewhere, for example at Sorrento they may hold for a few days amongst the moorings and generally in the evening come within casting range of the pier, Frankston pier is similar as the school of salmon tend to come towards the pier in the evening.

We have the back beaches such as Gunnamatta, Portsea etc. A school of salmon may hold in spot for a few minutes to hours or days.

Off the piers, dropping a soft plastic down can result in a hook up

I think you will be able to find links in this forum as too the lures, Busted Fishing make a really good lure that casts well, 42 gram to 15 gram

Salmon love hex wobblers from 40-55g. It is by far THE best salmon lure for me. I literally worship it because my biggest landbased fish is an 83cm salmon

Sorry but what does “X2” mean?
