If there's any chance I would love to join a beginner friendly group :wt: :ch: :vy:
Start with the bread and butter species mate πŸ˜ƒ
Have you caught any salt water fish before?

No I haven't to be honest. where would be an ideal place or spot to start?
Maybe start by trying to catch some mullet or garfish.
I used to get heaps of mullet in the Yarra under the Westgate πŸ˜ƒ

Use worm as bait in marybrnong river after rain or if the water is clear and hasn't been raining, use peeled prawn as bait.

Thanks mate =) I'm from Maribyrnong, inner west.
Hi Rom,
Lots of good fishing clubs in your area that can help you out learning the basics of fishing. Near you, I hear the Essendon club is alright, I suggest you look two?? clubs up online and find when they are having a meeting, drop into a meeting that they have and you will get a good feeling about which club to attend / join. You will get hundreds of years fishing knowledge for free!

Good luck.
