Hey guys, my name is Brad.
I love my fishing, mainly cod fishing and fish mostly with bait, although i also love using spinnerbaits and big swimbaits.
I’m always looking to learn and become a better fishermen as I’m relatively inexperienced in comparison to most members in here.
I do most of my fishing in the Yarra (where I’ve caught a heap of cod, up to 84cm), eildon and up Yarrawonga way.
I’ve got a question re leader and my hook pulling (happened yesterday when I was onto a big cod in a small creek up in yarrawonga way), but I’ll introduce myself before I get into that one.. cheers
Hey guys

Welcome to the forum Brad, good luck with your fishing, cheers davo
It's an exhilarating feeling catching a fish
But it's an even better feeling releasing them

Re: Hey guys
Welcome.
There's a mix of fishos here, both salty and freshy. Always good to have a good addition, be freshwater or saltwater fisho.

Re: Hey guys
Welcome mate - will be good to see some more fresh reports here. I hit the yarra somewhat frequently, this season trying lure only for results but its definitely a lot lot lot harder than on bait there - 3 trips this season for 0, hence no reports. May resort back to a bait trip when i need some confidence back.
