Saw that but it's already been sold. Not surprising given the price. Everything else I've seen like that is at least double the price. Hopefully there's nothing wrong with it for the buyer.

I've had a look at some more boats and have been down to the boat ramp a couple of times and spoken with some boat owners about their boats. Now after the advice I've received here and from other boat owners I think something a bit bigger around the 4.6-5m might be the go. It might mean having to save a bit more money and wait a bit longer but I'm not really in a hurry. For what I want to do it does seem like the sweet spot for being great on the bays but still small enough to get out into enclosed waters. Still going to keep my options open and see what comes up though.

I see you like chasing bream so you have to consider that you will need an electric motor for this, or maybe keep the kayak for enclosed waters & use the boat for WP, PPB & Offshore, I would recommend a runabout, you will sure appreciate the shelter when the sea breeze kicks in when you are out snapper fishing in the evening. Also I would suggest, go and check out the boat ramps where you intend to fish during peak season E.g., Mordi during November, if good weather is forecast you will not get a car park after around 3.30 am which is why I fish the evenings but the sea breeze comes up pretty strong, and there will usually be a bit of a queue down the creek to get on the dock when you come in, I think most boat ramps around PPB & WP have similar issues . A runabout is better if you need to cross bars to fish offshore, I see you like to get down to the Gippsland lakes, there is good gummy fishing offshore from Lakes Entrance. Unfortunately there is no such thing as a perfect all round boat, compromise is the name of the game, I think a good estuary setup with electric motor will not be so good on WP, PPB, and offshore.

I think getting something a bit bigger would be a good idea.
