Cast, wait for your soft plastic to hit the bottom. Lift tip of your rod Twice (that’s what it refers to... double hop) let it sink again. Repeat all the way back to your feet.

I just cast and let it hit the bottom then just twitch the rod a few times and let drop again and repeat.
