I wouldn't from Sunday. 3 days max usually for me unless frozen or on ice. But that's just me

If it doesn't smell generally it should be pretty safe to eat.

Also what is red fish? Red fin or snapper? Not that it really matters, just intrigued

Same Three Day Rule as Kimtown here.
It's not worth the risk getting sick.
If you aren't planning on eating your catch within 3 days, always freeze asap.

I thought a "red fish" is actually a "red mullet" which are caught when fishing for whiting as a by catch as they share the same weedy broken ground environment ..

I put them on par with whiting... but never get them in the same numbers as whiting usually a by catch.

Also known as whiskered goat fish. Back in the day they were a common by catch, some times a couple other times a few.

Maybe they went the way of the dodo ? I don't hear much about them now.

Like everyone said. 3 days max. Same with meat and chicken.
Check and smell the slime too. If you didn't put into fridge straight away.
