The perch here were introduced from Europe, similar to the zander, but essentially a freshwater fish that requires cleaning and seasoning. If you're going after them they tend to hunt in pairs or even packs so if you hit one you're likely to catch another straight away. It's getting the first one that's my bloody problem!

Yeah I know sometimes I catch 6 in half an hour and sometime don't catch anything for half an hour.
If people concentrated on the really important things in life, there'd be a shortage of fishing poles.
