Bait collection help

Post by A-a-ron » Tue Dec 29, 2020 3:49 pm

Hey everyone,

New to boating in westernport so was wondering if anyone can point me in the right direction for some bait collection for gummy/snapper. I know the pier for yakkas but once the seals is there that ruins may chances or toadies hang around pinching bait. I’m a bit confused on where quail bank squid are, trolled around that area not finding much squid looking living environments. Any help would be greatly appreciated, feel free to message me on here if needed. Tight lines! :wt: hope everyone has a great new year and had a great Xmas.

Tortoise head is great for squid, whiting, salmon, trevally and tailor.

Just burley up hard in 3-5m and fish will come, guaranteed.
