That's definitely on the to-do list. I've got the required safety gear for offshore fishing in the yak, I just need to tick off a few other fish I have on the list before I go chasing kings.

A good size kingie from a yak in Victorian waters would be awesome.

There's a bloke on the kayak forum who's been getting a few around the Cape trolling live squid.

I really like fishing that area. Tenby Point is beautiful even if the climb back up with the kayak afterwards is a p****. I have reason to believe there are jews in those channels (I recognised the background in a pic someone took lol, although I have no idea how far he went to get it), snapper can be found, and there's gummies, whiting and trevs too. The only things missing IMO are table size flatties and squid. Bugger all boats bother coming down the channels too, so I've always had the place to myself.

Considering jews have been caught at lang lang foreshore and stockyard, it's a given they'd be swimming around in that area.

I have a feeling I'm going to be hitting up around Balnarring a fair bit once mine is sorted out.

Never been but that looks like another great spot. The swell might be a bit easier there than at Shoreham.

When i talk about 'the high ledge' this is the one i'm talking about. Freaking amazing looking spot, never hooked a big fish there.

So just like the rest of Red Point lol? Unless swell sharks and skates count as big fish?
