Cleaning and preparing your catch

Post by tboner » Mon Jan 14, 2013 9:50 pm

Hey guys, iwas just thinking it would be a good idea if we have a thread for cleaning and preparing fish. Like how to blead, gut, skin and fillet a gummy. Or how to clean a squid. Or how to gut and fillet skinless boneless flatty tails, etc. etc. What are your guys thoughts?

I agree. Especially on the best or easiest way to pull the skin off a gummy. Without having to refer to you tube all the time. :D

ran over it a few times starting from the tail. the flesh will squirt out of the gummy through the gills or anal opening. You need not pull the skin afterwards, it will be like an empty tube and ready for taxidermy. :haha2: sweep the flesh and make fishballs later. :haha2: :haha2:
